The first quarter of 2018 opened like the previous 15 months with the S&P 500 continuing its uptrend, surging more than 5% and setting an all-time high on January 26th.
2018 Q2 Economic Update
So far this year, the business cycle has brought the fiscal policy changes that were expected to propel economic activity and the financial markets higher in 2018. While domestic markets are positive, international markets have suffered a minor setback.
2019 Q1 Economic Update
April brings showers, baseball, tax deadlines, and historically,the best month of the year for the S&P 500 Index (over the last 20 years). The S&P 500 had its best first quarter since 1998. And in March we celebrated the 10-year anniversary of the current bull market.
